Our farmhouse is a vacation rental
OK, we’ve got some good news and we’ve got some bad news. First, the bad news; we have purchased the house across the street from the farm and will be moving into it soon. After 12 years in our beautiful little farmhouse, we will miss it terribly but both Rosalind and I want a new start in our marriage and will take up housekeeping just a hundred yards or so from the farm.
Now, the good news; we will be offering the farmhouse as a vacation rental starting around the third week in November. We still have a lot to do to get it ready but things are progressing as planned and we should be moved in about a month or so. We have installed a hot tub on our back deck, and that, with all the other amenities, should assure that the house will be rented regularly. It already has a steamroom, wireless internet, satellite t.v.,large gas barbeque, and is three bedrooms and two bathrooms so would be a neat “family getaway” for the holidays and throughout the summer months. We will be adding “rental”pages to our website in the near future, but for the time being if someone is interested in renting the farmhouse, they should email us with questions or inquiries at info@purplehazelavender.com . We feel it will fill up quite quickly so plan way ahead and contact us soon if interested

Looking forward to hearing more about the farmhouse as a rental. I live in Arizona but have family in the Northwest and this would be a wonderful place for a gathering. Will be looking forward to knowing the rates and availability. By the way, I was able to be there for the Lavender Festival this summer and it was the best ever. Am looking forward to next year’s festival.

What will you be charging for the rental per night or is it a weekly requirement? I have a group of quilter friends that love going to beautiful places and your farmhouse might be a great place to sit and quilt. Thanks!

If you’re starting a list of those interested, PLEASE add me to the list. That looks like the most relaxing place on earth for a long overdue vacation. I can only imagine waking to the crisp clean fresh air after a peaceful sleep. I’m only afraid it would be overly tempting to never pack up and leave……. LOL

Your farm is such a wonderful place and full of such charm and calming areas — it takes me back to my childhood on a beautiful farm in the midwest — I would very much like to have the opportunity to stay on your property — please keep me in the loop for your rental fees etc. Thank you. Just made an order for folks back home — they are hooked on the salad dressing and mustard!! Happy Holidays!! Enjoy your road trip!!

I would like to find out if you would rent your farm house out for a few days and be able to have a wedding on your site. Would you send me your rates? I’ve been to your farm and it is beautiful and my family would adore the atmosphere.

I just came across your website while looking up how to harvest and dry lavender. A week-end or a week at your farmhouse looks lovely, as I am a former farm girl. Can you tell me where you are located and what the prices are for the rental?
