Why a Purple Haze Wedding?

Have you dreamt of a romantic farm wedding?

What makes our organic farm perfect for your wedding day? The sun and the aromatic environment at Purple Haze Farm will make it the ideal location for your wedding! We have two large lawns and 12 acres of gardens and orchards that make us the ideal outdoor wedding venue!

We are a 100% organic farm, so the environment here is pure and fresh. Take the opportunity to express your concern for the environment by having an organic wedding.  We are away from town, roads and noisy distractions that would hinder the sanctity of your service.

Farm weddings have a wholesome feel. Out here, on the grass in the fresh air that the countryside provides, you will feel clean and refreshed by your wedding ceremony location.

There is a vacation rental house on the property, so you and your bridal group can stay on-site to prepare for the ceremony. Or use the house as a first-night honeymoon!

The scent of lavender wafting through the air will no doubt relax your mind and smooth away any wedding day nerves.

Music
Both live and recorded music is permitted, however the volume must be maintained at a level deemed acceptable by Purple Haze Staff in order to not interfere with the enjoyment of other customers who may be visiting Purple Haze Lavender Farm during your alloted rental time.

Alcohol & Food
Alcohol may be served, but only by a licensed caterer who has shown proper proof of a Liquor License. Underage or intoxicated persons are not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages; alcoholic beverages are not to be sold. Due to liability issues a licensed caterer is required if food other than cake and non-alcoholic drinks are to be served.

Rental hours
The Purple Haze Lavender Farm is be available for Weddings and Receptions year round, however the months of June, July & August are the best months to view the lavender. Hours of usage are between 9:00 a.m and sunset, Monday thru Sunday.

Rental Fees
Rental fee includes the use of our lawn and stage area for 1 hr rehearsal time and 6 hours the day of your wedding (this includes photograph and clean up time). Rental Fee is $300.00 and each additional hour is $50.00. A $300.00 refundable damage deposit is also required at the time you book your wedding along with your $300.00 rental fee. We do require that you use our approved wedding planner (who will co-ordinate your Purple Haze Lavender Wedding with you, as well as give advice on vendors and be present to assist you during your rehearsal and wedding).  The fee for the Wedding Planners services is determined by the type of wedding services you desire and is billed seperately by her company.

Decorations
Purple Haze Lavender is a working Certified Organic farm and for the protection and beauty of our grounds and to retain our Organic Certification, the following rules will be strictly enforced:

1. No objects such as tacks, staples, wires, nails, string or tape of any kind may be affixed to any garden plants, lavender, trees or structures in the above mentioned area. Exception: Masking tape (painters type) may be used on the stage and wire or string on the outdoor pavillion tent.
2. Purple Haze Lavender's Certified Organic lavender florets MUST be used to throw in lieu of rice, bubbles, birdseed, confetti, or petals. Please see the wedding favor section of our online store.
3. The customer is responsible for providing:
   1. Tents (must be rented though a licensed rental company)
   2. Tables and chairs (must be rented through a licensed rental company).
   3. All food, drink, china, silverware, napkins, tablecloths, flowers,etc.
   4. Any other necessary items.
4. Purple Haze Lavender provides:
   1. Exclusive use of above mentioned lawn area
   2. Exclusive use of stage
   3. Connection to approved Wedding Co-ordinator
   4. Water & Electricity in lawn area
